The Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront is seeking a dependable Houseperson to assist the housekeeping team in Virginia Beach, VA. You will help keep rooms and public areas clean, stocked, and running smoothly behind the scenes to ensure guests have a seamless stay.

The role offers AM or PM shift possibilities, with duties varying by shift, and a straightforward path for growth within the Shamin Hotels portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, and remove trash throughout the property.
• Handle laundry — receiving, moving, and removing linen as directed.
• Clean and maintain stairwells.
• Respond to guest calls and requests promptly and courteously.
• Keep back-of-house areas, closets, and work spaces clean and organized.
