Qualifications

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the position, including lifting and transporting items of varying weights, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
• Certification in Alcohol awareness program.
• Certification in Food Handlers program.
• Ability to understand guest’s service needs.
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking.

Responsibilities

• The Server Assistant will service guests, assist with functions for servers, and deliver food to the guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently.
• This role will assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment and provide lateral service when necessary.
