Job summary

Embassy Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort is seeking a restaurant server to provide guests with exceptional service, take and input orders into our POS, and deliver meals with accuracy and care. You will help maintain a friendly, efficient dining area and promote menu items.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Team player with willingness to pitch in.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to promote menu items and upsell specials.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 30 lbs through a crowded room.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present specials or promotions.
• Take and input orders accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver orders to guests with correct condiments and utensils.
• Abide by all laws and corporate policies for serving alcohol.
