Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Ocean Pricing Manager to lead the pricing team in Itasca, IL. You will supervise pricing specialists, drive workflow, and ensure timely quotes aligned with profitability targets.

Responsibilities include negotiating with carriers, monitoring market trends, and maintaining pricing systems such as WebCargo and Catapult. You will collaborate with overseas offices and internal teams to deliver end-to-end pricing solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ocean freight pricing or ocean operations experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating with ocean carriers and managing customer pricing solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Ocean Pricing Specialists to ensure consistent performance and growth.
• Manage daily workflow and workload distribution within the pricing team.
• Monitor team productivity, service levels, and quote turnaround times.
• Conduct regular performance discussions and contribute to annual performance reviews.
• Oversee preparation and response to pricing requests for FCL/LCL and other shipments.
• Review and approve pricing submissions within established authority levels.
• Ensure quotations align with pricing strategies and market conditions.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, and commercial teams on pricing solutions.
