Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX seeks a Freight Forwarder for Ocean Import, Air & Sea operations. You will manage ocean import/export, customs clearance, carrier bookings and documentation to ensure on-time delivery.

Collaboration with carriers, brokers and internal teams, plus strong English, attention to detail and knowledge of trade laws are required. This full-time on-site role offers a base pay range of $21.53–$26.91 per hour, with pay determined by experience

Qualifications

Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in ocean import and export is highly desirable.
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of ocean freight logistics and customs regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.
Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Prepare, process, submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.
Track and monitor shipments and provide regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments.
