Job summary

Noatum Logistics seeks a Director of Pricing, Ocean Freight to lead the ocean pricing function for FCL and LCL services. You will own rate governance, pricing strategy, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Ocean Product, and Operations to drive margin and service reliability.

The role requires building scalable processes, analytics, and governance to improve win ratios, yield, and market visibility, while coaching a pricing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance, or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in ocean freight forwarding/NVOCC/pricing/tender management with FCL/LCL exposure.
• 3+ years of people leadership, cross-functional leadership or team mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead ocean pricing strategy for FCL/LCL import/export across key trade lanes.
• Own pricing governance, rate validation, surcharges handling, and documentation for quotes and long-term pricing.
• Partner with Sales, Ocean Product, Trade Management, Operations, and global offices to deliver competitive, profitable solutions.
• Direct pricing support for RFQ/RFP and tender opportunities with rate strategy, lane analysis, and risk review.
• Provide market intelligence on capacity, congestion, and competitor moves to guide pricing decisions.
• Negotiate with drayage carriers and overseas partners to maintain cost-effective space options.
• Oversee pricing databases and tools to ensure data accuracy and traceability.
