Glovis America, Inc. is seeking an Administrator for Ocean Carrier Services NJ to manage vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo operations across the U.S. East Coast and Canada.

The role focuses on optimizing vessel operations, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring cost-effective shipping solutions. Responsibilities include monitoring rotations, scheduling, regulatory compliance, and internal reporting, while collaborating with internal teams on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong ability to identify and correct errors.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; database systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vessel rotation schedules and monitor arrivals/departures to optimize efficiency.
• Oversee berthing schedules, labor allocations, and service requirements.
• Coordinate with port authorities, stevedores, and agents for seamless operations.
• Monitor cargo movements and implement operational improvements.
• Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for shipping operations.
• Develop and implement SOPs to improve workflow and adherence to best practices.
