Job summary

Glovis America, Inc. is seeking an Administrator, East Coast SCM to manage inbound/outbound transportation for auto parts into U.S. plants and oversee container movements.

You will minimize costs while maximizing profit, respond to customer inquiries promptly, and coordinate with carriers and internal teams. This role is based in Duluth, GA, with relocation noted to Buckhead per planning.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED and 4 years of Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or SCM.
• Preferred 7 years of Freight Forwarding, Logistics, and/or SCM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide Inbound/Outbound Operation Services including inland trucking, freight forwarding and airfreight operations.
• Coordinate and monitor US inbound and outbound traffic for auto parts; assist with documentation, inland deliveries, and customs operations.
• Analyze inbound/outbound shipment volumes; manage ETA/tracking reports; coordinate with up to 10 inland carriers; report supply chain interruptions.
• Support cargo damage/accident/claims in related parties; respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Monitor container moves; coordinate urgent container deliveries to support production lines.
• Manage demurrage/detention/chassis charges; alert customers of upcoming charges.
• Coordinate with Finance, Outbound Logistics, and Glovis IT (GENYSIS) for revenue, costs, and system enhancements.
• Prepare required documents such as commercial invoices; maintain professionalism with customers.
