Job summary

Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is seeking an Active Treatment Specialist to support individuals with complex needs. You will help define resources, coordinate active treatment plans, and supervise direct care staff while ensuring compliance with program protocols.

The role involves developing strategy sheets for adaptive training, evaluating progress via resident records, and coordinating service delivery with the treatment team to meet goals and transition planning requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a social science or behavioral health field, or social work; OR
  • Current Louisiana Registered Nurse license.

  • Coordinate, develop, implement, and revise active treatment plans per goals and Title XIX.
  • Formulate strategy sheets for general adaptive training and evaluate progress from records and IDT.
  • Exercise functional supervision over direct care and all active treatment components of the ISP.
  • Ensure compliance with treatment program protocols and support transition planning.
  • Prepare and finalize the Profile of Supports and ISP, conduct on-site observations and trainings.

Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specialises in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioural, and psychiatric support needs.

Job Duties
  • Define needed resources of terms of staff, materials, and supplies for implementation of active treatment programs including general adaptive training objectives.
  • Facilitate coordination, development, finalization and implementation of active treatment program in accordance with treatment goals and Title XIX regulations.
  • Formulate strategy sheets for general adaptive training, evaluate progress of skill acquisition by reviewing data and documentation in resident records and presentation of progress of IDT, initiate and incorporate revisions and recommendations into active treatment plan, coordinate service delivery with other departments (point person for IDT).
  • Exercise functional supervision over direct care, clerical staff and all active treatment components of the ISP, including all professional staff comprising the support team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant treatment program protocols, utilization and support of treatment goals in plan development, support and monitor community involvement, attainment of treatment goals, naturalistic learning opportunities, individual rights, continual support of education, exposure, and skill acquisition in relation to transition planning.
  • Prepare and finalize the Profile of Supports, facilitation of IDT meetings including Profile of Supports and ISP, conduct on-site observations of treatment plan via reliability checks, implement plans, training/in-servicing of staff and individuals, and provide materials for implementation of programs including documentation sheets, probe sheets, strategy sheets, etc.

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, Detail to Special Duty or Job Appointment

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pass Days: Saturday and Sunday

Compensation
  • OCDD Active Treatment Specialist 1 - $16.37 - $29.50
  • OCDD Active Treatment Specialist 2: $17.52 - $31.57
  • OCDD Active Treatment Specialist 3B: $20.06 - $36.14
  • Premium Pay for this position: $3.00/Hour
