Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time faculty member for the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program. The appointment is at the assistant or associate professor level with July 1, 2026, start, located on Jefferson’s Center City Philadelphia Campus.

The role centers on capstone coordination, teaching, mentoring, advising, and scholarly activity within a large OT department. This is a collaborative academic environment emphasizing excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• Must be an occupational therapist.
• Terminal doctorate degree (OTD, PhD, EdD or ScD).
• Experience in teaching, scholarship and service.
• Interest in collaborative and expansive academic environment with emphasis on excellence and innovation in OT education.
• Program development and implementation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Doctoral Capstone, cultivate new capstone sites, teach capstone content, and oversee capstone student placement and evaluation.
• Serve as a faculty mentor to OT students for their Doctoral Capstone.
• Advise all students related to the Doctoral Capstone experience and project.
• Maintain a faculty-centric scholarship agenda.
• Engage in internal and external service.
