TheraDynamics, a therapist-owned rehabilitation company in the Tri-State area, seeks a New York-licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant for SNF settings focusing on ADLs, cognitive retraining, and safe discharge planning.

You will collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to create functional, patient-centered plans, address home safety, and promote independence through engaging, individualized interventions and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible) required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures, tests and treatments.
• Develop individualized plans focused on functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and social work for coordinated care.
• Address self-care, cognitive deficits, home safety, and caregiver training.
