Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team in California. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and help patients restore independence while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program in line with AOTA/ACOTE.
• Initial NBCOT certification is required or eligible for licensure.
• State licensure or eligibility must be met in the practice state.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with rehab team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support holistic care and address patient independence goals.
• Engage with patients compassionately and document care delivery.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure
