Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. Working under the supervision of an occupational therapist, you will help implement individualized plans of care and support patients toward functional goals.

You will assist with all phases of occupational therapy treatment, document patient progress, and maintain open communication with therapists and facility staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Assist in developing and implementing treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record responses in charts after visits.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
