Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state and maintain license.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures and communicate with managers, coworkers and families.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safety techniques.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding goals and discharge planning.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and other staff as needed.
