Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will support patients by following individualized care plans and helping implement therapeutic activities.

You will document patient progress after each session, communicate with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff, and operate standard OT equipment to help deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• OTA credential and state licensure required.
• Experience in occupational therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
