Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-focused therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. In Kingsland, TX, you will help patients develop and restore functional independence, following the OT plan of care and facility guidelines.

You will document progress, educate patients and families, communicate status to the supervising OT, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. A supportive team and travel opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions per OT plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient and family education.
• Communicate patient status to supervising OT.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
