Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in collaboration with unit staff and the inter-disciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate, and implement group programming to meet patients' treatment needs.
The OTA collaborates with the treating physician and interdisciplinary team to determine necessary evaluations and provides individual treatment as needed.
Requirements:
Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Training and Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health or with specific age populations (geriatrics, pediatrics).
Special Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, creative, and flexible.
Schedule: 20/40 Part-Time Split Shift 10a-6:30p - Every Other Weekend
Note: Riverview 2 is an Adult Short Stay Unit.
