Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners invites a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Miami team on a PRN basis. You will work under the supervision of licensed OTs to implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise routines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• 1 year of experience as a COTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in status to supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
• Schedule: PRN - Daytime.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required

• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required

• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT

• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
