Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Sunrise, FL is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for PRN daytime coverage. You will implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of an OT and help patients progress with adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Candidates should have an Associate Degree in OTA, a current Florida COTA license, NBCOT certification, and at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required

• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required

• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT

• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
