Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in LaBelle, FL is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team. You will support therapists, implement treatment plans, and help patients achieve functional goals in a collaborative setting.

The position offers daytime PRN hours at LaBelle Health and Rehabilitation Center, with opportunities for mentorship and skill development. Valid COTA license and NBCOT certification are required, with one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current NBCOT certification and state COTA license.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Implements treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Documents patient progress and status changes to the OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
• Supports therapists to ensure quality of care.
• Participates in team planning and patient progress reviews.
• Adheres to facility policies and safety procedures.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
