Job summary

Parkview Manor is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will plan and deliver OT treatments to residents and assist under the supervision of a licensed OT, while documenting care and communicating with families and staff.

Qualifications include an active Texas OTA license, a COTA credential, and knowledge of current OT practices. SNF or long-term care experience is preferred, and familiarity with Net Health EHR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with disabilities.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service and relay information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments follow the established care plan.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation timely in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate

• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
