Description
Under the supervision of the Licensed Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant treats patients with mobility, cognition, function, strength, positioning, and activities of daily living. The OTA conducts in-services and training for patient caregivers and facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs and clinical care. Reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible to the Therapy Program Manager. The OTA collaborates with families, physicians, and other health team members, maintaining professional documentation of services. CRI’s OTAs promote competent, courteous, and professional services to internal and external customers.
