Job Summary

Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of an occupational therapist to improve quality of life and daily functioning. Provide, monitor, and document therapy services for individuals with various impairments, ensuring adherence to professional standards and guidelines. Collaborate with occupational therapists to modify interventions based on patient responses and progress. Work may focus on post-acute, long-term care, and home health environments.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level per state licensure requirements.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the practice state(s).
• Preferred: Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of hire.
