Job summary

Dublin Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under supervision of an OT, you will implement treatment plans and help residents perform ADLs to promote independence.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio COTA license and an associate degree, with prior SNF/LTC or rehab experience preferred. Flex scheduling and in-house therapy support a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Current COTA license in the State of Ohio.
  • Associate degree from an accredited OT Assistant program.
  • Experience in SNF/LTC or rehab setting preferred.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and activities.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately and promptly.
  • Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
