Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will help develop and implement treatment programs, support all phases of therapy, document progress after visits, and communicate with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment.
• Develop and implement treatment programs with supervising OT.
• Record patient conditions and responses after each visit.
• Maintain communication with OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff.
• Operate standard OT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
