Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Elk Grove Village (IL) is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and join our growing team. You will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.You will assist in implementing treatment programs, document patient responses, and coordinate with therapists and facility staff to deliver high-quality therapy and improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
