Enhance Rehabilitation in Elgin, IL is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care and supporting their rehabilitation goals.

You will participate in developing and implementing treatment programs, assist with all phases of therapy, discuss progress with patients and staff, and ensure proper documentation and communication to support

Qualifications

• OTA license and eligibility to practice in Illinois
• Ability to work under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Strong communication with patients and team
• Commitment to quality patient care and documentation

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with the Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
