Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support licensed therapists in Houston, TX. The OTA will document treatments, participate in care conferences, and coordinate with the rehab team to plan patient progress and goals.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OTA program and current licensure, plus strong communication skills and professional interactions with patients, families, and staff. FT/PT positions available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Good communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist.
• Records treatments in the medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members about progress, problems, and plans.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state occupational therapy rules.
