Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to support residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist the OT with treatment plans, perform assessments, and monitor progress to ensure positive outcomes.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to collaborate with the care team. The role requires an OTA credential, at least one year of related experience, and a willingness to handle a high-volume workload while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the occupational therapist with the implementation of treatment plans, including assisting with therapeutic activities and exercises
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals, including gathering relevant information and data
• Provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure progress, including conducting follow-up meetings and check-ins
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' interactions and progress
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and services
• Other duties as assigned
