Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in-facility, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will implement occupational therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients restore function and independence.

The role requires OTA program graduate status, NBCOT certification, and licensing or eligibility to practice in Massachusetts. Powerback offers a supportive, growth-focused environment with mentorship and continuing education

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities and follow recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain function.
• Address the whole patient and support independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with peers and refer when appropriate to ensure comprehensive patient care.
