Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapies and support patient recovery. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and help patients regain independence under the direction of the Rehab Director.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and adapting activities to each patient’s needs. A licensed OTA or eligibility for licensure is required, with opportunities for mentorship and growth across the Powerback network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial NBCOT certification obtained or eligible for licensure.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain function and independence.
• Collaborate with rehab team to coordinate care and patient progress.
• Support patient-centered care in a compassionate environment.

Education
