Job summary

Overland Terrace Healthcare & Wellness Centre in Los Angeles seeks an occupational therapy assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an OT, support treatment plans, and contribute to patient outcomes.

You will document services accurately, assist with scheduling and billing duties, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help educate patients and families on follow‑through programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA approved Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist.
• Complete documentation according to established procedures.
• Assist therapists with scheduling patient services and administrative tasks.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and educate team members in areas of expertise.
• Educate patients and families on follow‑through programs and treatment plans.
• Maintain safe working practices and proper body mechanics during treatments.
