Kings Healthcare & Wellness Center in California is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care under supervision of an OTR. The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, teamwork, and applying current treatment knowledge to patient plans.

The position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new full-time hires and opportunities to collaborate across departments, contribute to quality improvements, and support family education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AOTA approved Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and adult neurological/general rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a registered occupational therapist.
• Complete documentation according to established procedures and billing requirements.
• Assist therapists with scheduling and administrative support for therapy services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team activities and care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-through.
