Cedar Pointe Health & Wellness Center in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program.

You will provide rehabilitative and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, performing ADL retraining and therapeutic activities, and contribute to progress assessments to optimize patient care for geriatric clients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

CEDAR POINTE HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTER - CEDAR PARK, TX

Cedar Pointe Health & Wellness Center in Cedar Park, TX, is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
