Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide person-centered care for residents, improving independence and quality of life. You will plan and administer OT treatments, work under supervision, and support families and caregivers.

The role emphasizes adherence to the plan of care, timely documentation, and collaboration with the Rehab team in a SNF/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license is required.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to promote function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the OT.
• Ensure all treatments align with the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to interventions and report changes.
• Complete required documentation timely per policy.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing


• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist


• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist


• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care


• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers


• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate


• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations


• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license


• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required


• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards


• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred


• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices


• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred


• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs


• Strong communication and teamwork skills
