Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join an in-house rehab team. You will plan and administer targeted therapies to residents, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, aiming to improve independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas OTA license and COTA credential, with strong communication and teamwork. Prior SNF or long-term care experience is preferred, and Net Health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license.
• COTA credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function.
• Provide services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation timely in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long‑term care experience preferred
