Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Texas is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team. The role focuses on goal-oriented, person-centered care to improve residents' independence and quality of life.

You will work under an Occupational Therapist, plan and deliver treatments, document thoroughly, and collaborate with staff. Texas-licensed OTA with COTA credential preferred; SNF/long-term care experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA license in good standing.
• COTA credential required.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of current OT treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents with disabilities.
• Provide OT services under the supervision of an OT.
• Relay information and referrals to the OT as needed.
• Ensure treatments align with the established plan of care.
• Provide instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor responses and report changes to the OT.
• Complete documentation promptly per policy and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
