Creative Solutions In HealthCare is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Texas. You will plan and administer OT treatments to residents under guidance of an OT, ensuring care plans are followed and progress is documented accurately.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care exposure preferred. Net Health knowledge is a plus, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license in good standing.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiar with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments align with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical guidance to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes promptly.
• Complete documentation timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
