Job summary

Concept Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) in Fremont, Michigan. The position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis, working with an experienced rehabilitation team.

You will treat clients under the supervision of an OT, help them regain daily living skills, and document progress as part of an interdisciplinary care plan. A team-oriented environment and opportunities for professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program is required.
• Current Michigan OTA/COTA license or eligibility is required.
• NBCOT certification or eligibility is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• A team-oriented approach and collaboration with the rehabilitation team are important.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients improve their ability to participate in daily activities.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Communicate with the OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient needs and progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate.
• Promote safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Maintain professional standards and follow state and facility requirements.
