Job summary

Concept Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to join our Fremont, Michigan therapy team. We offer both full-time and part-time schedules and a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will provide treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT, help patients improve daily activities, document progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to promote safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current MI OTA/COTA license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification or eligibility.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A team-oriented approach.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Help patients improve ability to participate in daily activities.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Communicate with the OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient needs and progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate.
• Promote safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Maintain professional standards and follow state and facility requirements.
