Job summary

Total Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our Powell, OH team. You will work with a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that improves mobility, independence, and quality of life for older adults.

The role offers full-time hours in a supportive, therapist-owned environment with opportunities for growth and a collaborative interdisciplinary team in assisted living settings across Ohio.

Qualifications

• Current State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Implement activities to promote independence in ADLs/IADLs, upper extremity function, coordination, strength, balance and cognition.
• Assist residents to improve functional performance, safety and independence with personalized approaches.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Complete documentation and treatment notes using an EMR system.
