As a Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will provide occupational therapy services remotely, collaborating with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess, plan, and monitor treatment, guiding clients through virtual platforms. Your goal is to help clients achieve their occupational therapy objectives and enhance their functional abilities remotely.

Responsibilities

1. Intervention: Deliver remote occupational therapy including exercises and activities to meet client goals.
2. Education: Instruct clients and caregivers on strategies to improve independence and well-being.
3. Documentation: Keep accurate patient records, including progress notes.
4. Compliance: Follow ethical standards and regulations, ensuring privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA).
5. Technology: Use telehealth platforms effectively for remote sessions.
6. Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest in occupational therapy through ongoing learning.

Compensation

W2 | $27.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingual skills.

• Valid CA State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
• Experience in clinics, private practices, hospitals, or home health
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
• Experience with feeding, sensory, hand therapy, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients preferred
