Preferred Therapy Solutions, LLC is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab team in Queens, Jamaica, NY. The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and timely documentation within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
• Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to residents in a sub-acute setting.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document accurately and timely using the facility's EMR system.
• Support therapy goals and promote residents’ independence.
