Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions in Queens/Jamaica, NY is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our sub-acute rehab team. You will provide compassionate therapy in a skilled nursing facility and collaborate with rehab and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation is required, with strong attention to detail and timeliness. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available within the PTS network.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a team-based environment
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with MS Outlook/Word/Excel and electronic documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records
• Work well with others in a team setting

Overview A Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant , (COTA/OTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Queens Jamaica, NY. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. Job Requirements

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employedDemonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Good Faith Rate Range: $35.00
