Universal Health Services in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support goal oriented treatments and help patients achieve independence in ADLs and upper-extremity functions.
Work closely with licensed therapists to adapt activities to each patient’s needs and participate in a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development. The role offers a collaborative hospital environment and opportunities for growth.
Responsible for carrying out goal oriented treatments established by the Occupational Therapist to facilitate maximum level of independence in ADL and UE functioning.

Education: Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from a college program satisfying the American Occupational Therapy Association academic and intern requirement for competence in OT.
License/Certification: Nevada State License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. (Must be in the process of licensure and practicing under a student license). Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.
Other: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
