As a Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will deliver occupational therapy services remotely. You will work with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess, plan, implement treatment, monitor progress, and guide clients via virtual platforms. Your goal is to help clients achieve their occupational therapy objectives and enhance their functional abilities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing remote occupational therapy interventions, including exercises and activities to help clients reach their goals.
2. Educating clients and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and well-being.
3. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
4. Ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA.
5. Using telehealth platforms effectively for remote sessions.
6. Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated in the field.

Compensation

W2 | $27.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingual skills.

Minimum requirements include:

• Valid COTA certification
• Active CA State COTA license
• Experience in clinical, private practice, hospital, or home health settings
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
• Strong experience with feeding, sensory, hand skills, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients is preferred
