Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Bilingual Spanish - Remote (California)

As a Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will provide occupational therapy services remotely. You will collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and guide clients through virtual platforms. Your goal is to help clients achieve their occupational therapy objectives and improve their functional abilities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing remote occupational therapy interventions, including exercises and activities to help patients achieve their goals and improve their abilities.
2. Educating patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance independence and well-being.
3. Maintaining accurate patient records, including progress notes and necessary documentation.
4. Adhering to ethical and legal standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA).
5. Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively for remote therapy sessions.
6. Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with occupational therapy advancements.

Compensation

W2 | $27.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingualism.

Minimum requirements include:

• Valid certification as a COTA
• Active CA State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
• Experience in clinics, private practices, hospitals, or home health settings
• Technical proficiency with teletherapy platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
• Strong experience in feeding, sensory, hand therapy, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients (preferred)
