Salinas Valley Post-Acute in Salinas, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our resident-centered rehab team. You will provide high-quality therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed OT, focusing on ADLs and functional mobility.

We offer $50–$55 per hour (DOE), quarterly bonuses, sponsorship for international clinicians, and tuition reimbursement to support your growth within a collaborative, supportive therapy department.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid California COTA license in good standing.

Your Impact & Responsibilities
  • Clinical Implementation: Work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality therapeutic services and restorative interventions.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and document resident progress accurately and timely in accordance with California state and federal guidelines.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the OT, nursing staff, and medical team regarding resident status and discharge goals.
  • Resident Advocacy: Educate residents and their families on home programs, safety practices, and the use of adaptive equipment.
