As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper who cares for the whole patient and views them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to the needs of each patient and find joy in the variety of tasks and settings. You collaborate with peers and refer patients for additional services as needed, always putting patients first and ensuring families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
