Powerbackrehabtoyou is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their dedicated team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This role involves helping patients implement occupational therapy programs, delivering treatments, and collaborating with peers to ensure high-quality care.

Qualified candidates will need to have graduated from an accredited program and hold certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Competitive compensation of $25–30 per hour is offered, along with various perks including medical benefits.

Responsibilities

Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Location/work environment: In facility

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper who cares for the whole patient and views them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to the needs of each patient and find joy in the variety of tasks and settings. You collaborate with peers and refer patients for additional services as needed, always putting patients first and ensuring families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
3. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Compensation

USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
