Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated occupational therapy assistant for a skilled nursing facility in Mount Vernon, OH. You will help restore residents’ independence by guiding therapeutic activities and education under supervision, within a supportive team.

This full-time role requires an Associate’s Degree and an active OTA license, with state licensure. It offers on-site work, competitive wages, and opportunities for CEUs and career growth.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software including EHR and service delivery software.

Responsabilités

• Instruct patients in maintenance of function after discharge through education and independent exercise.
• Supervise activity modification under OT and DOR.

Position Summary

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
